Every two weeks we are introducing you to inspiring women on our network and share their stories. Maybe they can become your role models and lower the barrier to connect online and offline, especially when you meet in our meetups.

Where do you work?
I’m dividing my time between digital marketing and event management jobs in Finland and abroad.

What is your title?
Social Media Manager and Event Manager.

In max. four sentences what is your story, your background?
I have been involved with digital media business for 20 years. I have worked with several industries such as banking, insurance, health, wellness and retail and e-commerce and lately with horeca business. My background also includes concept design, customer experience and content strategies. As I have been working with large companies, I could say that every Finn has used a service which I have somehow been involved with.

Is technology part of you work? If yes, can you describe how?
Technology plays a big part: working with content management systems, content production, video and video editing, digital pictures and graphics – they all need technology to function! Open source platforms and applications have also become familiar when I have been developing digital services.
At the moment I’m interested in how artificial intelligence and machine learning can be exploited for service development.

Your biggest challenge at the moment at work or in self-development?
Delivering an outstanding customer experience through the entire customer journey.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Swinging in a hammock in Hawaii, I hope! 😊 But if that is not happening, then I would like to continue working with interesting digital projects.

What Future Female network has given you? Or what would you like it to give you?
I have been attending different events by Future Female and also Women In Tech for about two years now. I have enjoyed all of them a lot! Well organized events with varied subjects keep me updated of the current topics and it’s always great to meet talented people.
