Every two weeks we are introducing you to inspiring women on our network and share their stories. Maybe they can become your role models and lower the barrier to connect online and offline, especially when you meet in our meetups.

Where do you work?

I work as an Analyst at Nepa Insights. I help companies to understand their customer and provide them with outstanding services and products.

What is your story and background?

I have always been interested in human psychology and the way people make their decisions. This interest led me toward studying behavioral economics and the career in data analysis for trend-reading and insights. I have received my bachelor in Marketing in Ukraine and a Masters in Quantitative Social Research at the University of Tampere. Nowadays, I concentrate on utilizing various types of research to improve business decision-making and make it more data-oriented.

Is technology part of you work?

In research, technology is an integral part of the process. Starting with the gathering of data and its analysis, companies are intensively using AI solutions. Real-life and real-speech data-analysis is available only with advanced technologies that are in the development at the moment. Also, I am very interested in how human decision-making process changes with the use of technology.

Your biggest challenge at the moment at work or in self-development?

For the last couple of years, one of the biggest challenges is finding time and energy for consuming all the information that is available! I guess it is a common issue with the stream of information we get these days. 🙂 At the moment, I concentrate on learning more about research methods and data combinations that could provide deeper insights on human behaviour and preferences.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I hope that in the next five years I will be brave enough to continue an academical career in behavioural economics.

What Future Female network has given you? Or what would you like it to give you?

Future Female is an amazing organization. The themes, workshops and speakers are always top-notch. Alongside with professional development, I have found a great friend that I would definitely have for the whole life. For meeting people like this, I am forever grateful.

What is the best and the most important quality in your professional persona from your point of view?

I guess for me it would be my passion. I am excited to make every project better than the previous one. Besides, a spice of perfectionism keeps everything on the right track.

Quote that inspires you the most?
Carpe diem.

Last but not least – name one woman who you admire and why?

Faith Popcorn. This woman is the groundbreaking breakthrough in the trend-reading and insights. She is the one who predicted the end of the film and the start of the digital era and she was not afraid to be vocal about her discoveries. I believe that we have to be more bold and brave. Otherwise, I would definitely name my mum here 🙂

I really like coffee and tea, text me if you want to grab one together!
